New Home ~ Be Neighbourly

Hello bloggers today I have a new home card for you.

This card began as an A4 white card stock that I cut, scored and folded to make an A6 card.  First using some purple pearlescent paper I embossing it with Creative Expressions 'floral' embossing folder.  I then cut it down to size and adhered it to the card front.  Next I die cut two crowned circles using Spellbinders 'crowned circles' die set, silver holographic card stock and purple pearlescent paper.  The crowned circles I adhered together and then interlocked the crowns.  Using some purple patterned paper I stamped the house image onto it to form my topper, using Polka Doodles 'be neighbourly' stamp set and black soot distress ink.  This was then fussy cut and adhered into the center of the topper.  The sentiment was stamped onto purple pearlised card stock using staz-on ink pad and Clarity Stamps 'letterbox' stamp set.  Once stamped it was fussy cut and adhered to the card.

Snowman ~ from the Snowman and the Snowdog

Hello bloggers I'm having a hectic week I'm afraid so another quick and easy Christmas card using a shaped card today.

This card began as an A4 sheet of Centura pearl card stock, at first I printed the design onto the card using Crafter's Companion 'the snowman and the snowdog' CD-ROM.  I then fussy cut around the snowman on the right hand side.  I then cut out the rest of the card.  Once cut out it was scored and folded to make a shaped card, where the front shows off some of the inside of the card.  Next from the same CD-ROM I printed off the snowflake backing paper, cut it to size and then adhered it  to the inside of the card.  Finally I added a vellum sentiment from my stash.

Quick Christmas tag

Hello bloggers, I've had a very hectic day so no time for crafting but managed to rustled up this quick tag.  Apologies for the poor photo but at present I cant use my camera (that's another story) so had to scan it using the printer.

This tag began as a piece of hammered white card stock.  First  I stamped the text using Justrite 'large merry Christmas sentiment' stamp set and festive berries distress ink.  I then cut the tag to size and used a corner rounder on all four corners.  Using evergreen bough distress ink I inked the edges of the tag.  Next using a hole punch I punched a hole in the top of the tag.  I threaded the ribbon through the hole and tied the two open ended together.  Finally I punched out two Christmas trees from green ribbed paper and layered them up to give a 3D effect .  The tree was then adhered in the bottom right hand corner of the card.

Spider Web ~ Halloween

Hello bloggers today's card is Halloween theme with gorgeous orange cardstock and a web complete with spider.

This card began life as an A4 sheet of orange topsy turvy cardstock that I cut down and scored to make a 4" square card blank.  First using some black cardstock and Spellbinders 'spider web' die set I die cut the spider and web.  To the spider I added some eyes using Cosmic Shimmer black pearl pva.  The sentiment was computer generated and then printed onto white cardstock.  It was then die cut using Spellbinders ' labels 14' die set.  Whilst still in the die the edges were inked with spiced marmalade distress ink.  The web,  spider and sentiment were then adhered to the card blank to complete the card.

THe Flowers of Tomorrow ~ mint

Hello bloggers today's card has a green theme since this seems to be one of my favourite colours this year.

This card began as a white hammered 6x6 card blank.  To the front I adhered some diamond patterned paper.  Next I stamped my topper onto white cardstock using Adirondack 'lettuce' ink pad and a flower stamp.  The image was then coloured with a pencil crayon and faux pearls were added to some of the flowers that were not coloured in the centers.  The topper was then matted onto some mint green glitter card and this was then adhered to the card blank.  The sentiment was stamped onto white cardstock using black soot distress ink and Creative Expressions 'sentimental sayings' stamp set.  It was then cut to size and matted onto some mint green glitter card.
