Frou Frou Special Wishes Female Card Tied Together

Hello bloggers well the weather has changed drastically and we had a dull day yesterday with no sun at all which was the ideal time to strawberry pick.  Love being able to pick my own for free when strawberry season is in full flow.  Back to today I have a female card made using the tied together embossing folder and Frou Frou digi kit.

This card began as an A4 sheet of white card stock that I cut and scored to make a 4.75 x 5.75 card blank.  First I took a piece of white card stock and cut it down the the card blank size.  Next using tumbled glass distress ink and 'tied together' embossing folder I inked the folder front with the ink and then embossed the card stock. The ink then transferred to the background and the embossed areas are still white.    Next using Crafter's companion 'frou frou' digit kit I printed out a sheet of different toppers that I like.  I then chose a topper and die cut it using Spellbinders' heart circles' die set.  I then added the topper to the centre of the card.

Next using Polkadoodles 'sensational sentiments' stamp set and tumbled glass distress ink I stamped the sentiment.  It was then die cut using Spellbinders 'fancy tags two' die set and then to the card.  Using some blue ribbon I tied a bow and adhered it at the top of the topper.  I then added two faux pearls to the sentiment to finish off the card.

Potentilla ~ sending lots of smiles your way

Hello bloggers, I have a simple peachy floral card for you today.

This card began as a white 5x7 card blank.  First I took some peach pearlescent paper and embossed it using Creative Expressions 'floral' embossing folder.  Next I cut this down to size and adhered it to the bottom of the card.  I then cut a piece of peach handmade paper for the top of the card.  This was adhered in the centre and the bottom edge so that the glue can not be seen on the completed card.  Next I added a strip of peach ribbon across the join of the papers.  I then hand tied a bow and adhered it to the centre of the ribbon strip.  Using some floral paper from my stash I die cut a shape using Spellbinders 'labels one' die set.  I then picked the Potentilla paper from my stash and used the same die set but a smaller die to cut another shape.  The die cuts were then mounted up at different angles to give some interest to the mats.  Next I stamped my sentiment using Polka Doodles 'sensational sentiments' stamp set and staz-on ink pad.  This was then die cut using Spellbinders 'fancy tags two' die set and adhered to the top of the card.

Happy Birthday ~ Spaceman

Hello bloggers a spaceman card today for the little spacemen in your life.

This card began as a white 5x7 card blank.    To the front I adhered a piece of Kraft card and then randomly stamped it with a spaceship stamp from Woodware 'space cadets' stamp set and black soot distress ink.  Next I cut some black handmade paper and made a mat for my topper.  The topper was stamped onto brown handmade paper using black soot distress ink and the same stamp set.  A mat was then made from some copper textured mirror board.  These layers were adhered together and attached to the card.  Next onto black handmade paper I stamped my sentiment using clear perfect medium and Polkadoodles 'sensational sentiments'.  I added some Cosmic Shimmer 'true white' embossing powder and heat embossed this.  A mat was cut from some brown handmade paper and these layers were added together and adhered to the card.  Using some polka dot brown ribbon I tied two double bows and adhered them either end of the sentiment.
