The Snowman and the Snowdog

Hello bloggers I do hope that you had a better day than I did yesterday, I was ill with a migraine all day :(
Anyway by night time I was able to put together this card for you.

This card began as a white 5x7 card blank.  First I adhered some silver snowflake embossed card stock to the front of the card.  Next I cut some snowflake patterned paper down to size and matted it onto the silver card stock.  The toppers and bunting were printed onto white card stock using Crafter's Companion 'the snowman and the snowdog' CD_ROM.  These were all cut out and the two toppers were placed towards the bottom of the card.  Then I added some tinsel twine to the top of the card and adhered the bunting to it. Finally I added a mirrored gem to form the snowdogs' ball.

Poinsettia and Holly with The Snowman and the Snowdog ~ Spellbinders

Hello blogger's today's card is another Christmas card using the Snowman and the Snow dog CD-ROM.

This time I chose an aeroplane image, this would be a great card for people living abroad or going on holiday for Christmas.

This card began as a white 8x8 card blank.  First I cut a mat from red mirror board and adhered it to the card blank.  Next I printed my topper from Crafter's Companion 'the snowman and the snowdog' CD-ROM.  I then cut it to size and adhered it to the red mat.  Using some green ribbed paper I die cut four holly borders using Spellbinders 'holly accents' die set.  Whilst still in the dies I inked through with bundled sage distress ink.  The borders were then attached around the topper to form a frame.  I then made up two poinsettias for two of the corners using some red paper and Spellbinders 'layered poinsettia' die set.  I used the three smallest dies.  Once die cut I layered them up and added a faux gem to the center before adding one to the bottom left and top right corners.  Finally I added some die cut berries into the other two corners.  These were made using the same red paper and layered poinsettia die set.

Snowman ~ from the Snowman and the Snowdog

Hello bloggers I'm having a hectic week I'm afraid so another quick and easy Christmas card using a shaped card today.

This card began as an A4 sheet of Centura pearl card stock, at first I printed the design onto the card using Crafter's Companion 'the snowman and the snowdog' CD-ROM.  I then fussy cut around the snowman on the right hand side.  I then cut out the rest of the card.  Once cut out it was scored and folded to make a shaped card, where the front shows off some of the inside of the card.  Next from the same CD-ROM I printed off the snowflake backing paper, cut it to size and then adhered it  to the inside of the card.  Finally I added a vellum sentiment from my stash.
