Hello bloggers I hope that you are well and had a good weekend.  Today I have another pop-up box card for you this time for a female birthday.

This card began as an A4 sheet of white card stock that I cut and scored to make a pop-up box card.  Before I cut and scored it I printed the card stock with the floral pattern using Funky Hand 'paper dreams' CD-ROM.  It was then adhered together and the inners were added to adhered the decoration to.  I then began decorating it with several embellishments.

The happy birthday was stamped onto white card stock using peeled paint distress ink and Polka Doodles 'sensational sentiments' stamp set.  Once stamped it was die cut using Spellbinders 'framed tags one' dies set.  I then clipped the ends of the tag added some feathers behind it and adhered it to the front flap of the card.

Next using oddments from my scrap paper box I die cut the butterflies using Spellbinders 'les papillions' die set.  Once die cut they were layered up and one was adhered to each side flap.

I then started to make the flowers using Spellbinders 'anemone flower' die set.  Once die cut I shaped and layered up the die cuts to create completed flowers.  Next using Spellbinders' foliage' die set I die cut some leaves using scraps from the paper scrap bin.   Whilst still in the die I inked through with bundles sage distress ink.   The leaves were added to the flowers and then added to acetate before adhering them to the inside of the box.  Finally I added some more feathers to complete the look.

21st birthday ~ music

Hello bloggers today's card is a card for a male 21st birthday.  The recipient is very much into his music and enjoys making his own remixes.

This card began as a piece of A4 white hammered card stock that I score and folded to make an A5 card. First before folding and scoring the card stock I printed the whole sheet with the snakes and ladders board design using my computer and printer.  This was printed from My Craft Studio 'back to basic 'CD-ROM.  I then score and folded the card.  The music topper was then printed in the same way from the same CD.  I then die cut it using Spellbinders 'grand labels 11' die set.  The topper was then adhered to the card.  Next I computer generated the 21 and cut it using a circle punch.  I then cut a mat from some silver holographic mirror board layered them up and placed them were the number 21 was on the snakes and ladders board. Finally I stamped the sentiment using staz-on ink black and Polka Doodles 'sensational sentiments' stamp set.

Native American Spirit

Hello, today's card is a little different and definately one for the boys.

This card began as an A6 white hammered card blank.  I cut a mat from green mirror board slightly smaller than the main card base.  Next I cut some white card stock smaller than the green mat and stamped the corners using a stamp from Creative Expressions 'Native American Spirit' and aged mahogany distress ink.  Then I stamped the head dress image using the same stamp set using walnut stain distress ink.  I coloured the image using a green promarker and distress inks pine needles and walnut stain. The tassel on the head dress was coloured using cosmic shimmers 'olympic gold' pearl pva.  The animals at the bottom of the topper were stamped using iced spruce distress ink and the stamp came from the same stamp set.  The sentiment was stamped onto white card stock using pine needles distress ink and Polkadoodles 'sensational sentiments' stamp set.  This was then die cut using a die from Spellbinders back to basics tags.  I then took the tag out of the die and re-seated it and cut it again to get a hole in both ends of the tag.  Then I stamped the corner stamp on the sides of the tag.  The green mat and topper were adhered to the card base.  The sentiment was then also attached to the card.  In the tag holes I poured some cosmic shimmer 'olypmic gold' pva to fill them.
