Thanks A Bunch ~ Marie Curie Daffodil

Hello bloggers, today I have a lovely spring card with some Marie Curie Daffodils.

This card began as a 12x12 sheet of blue card stock that I cut and scored to make 5.25 x 8.5 card blank.  Next I adhered some blue butterfly patterned paper to the front of the card.  Using some yellow satin ribbon across the centre of the card and added a hand tied bow which I adhered with a glue dot.  The topper was stamped onto white card stock using mustard seed distress ink and Marie Curie Ltd Edition 'daffodil' stamp.  Once stamped I used a water brush and some mustard seed distress ink to colour the flowers.  The stems were coloured with a green ProMarker.  The topper was then die cut with Spellbinders 'labels E' die set.  I then cut a mat for the topper using the larger sized die and yellow glitter card.  The topper and mat were adhered together and added to the top of the card.

The sentiment was created using the text feature of the Brother Scan N Cut.  It was then cut out of yellow vinyl.  Finally the text was added to the card below the ribbon.

Live Everyday ~ Lillies

Hello bloggers I can not believe that we are almost at the end of March already times does seem to fly by these days.  Onto today's card with a sentiment and flowers.

This card began as an A4 sheet of pink Topsy Turvy card stock that I cut and scored to make a card blank 4x4.  Next I cut a piece of pink glitter card to slightly smaller than the card blank to form a mat.  This was adhered into place.  Using black soot distress ink and Creative Expressions 'festive florals' stamp set I stamped the Lily image onto white card stock.  Once stamped I fussy cut it out and coloured it using ProMarkers.  Next onto white card stock I stamped my sentiment using the same stamp set and ink pad.  The sentiment was then die cut using Spellbinders 'labels A' die set.  The sentiment was inked around the edges with a pink ProMarker and then it was adhered to the top left of the card.  Finally the lilies image was adhered to the bottom right of the card.

Get Well Soon! ~ Tactile elephant

Hello bloggers today's card is a cute get well soon card!

This card began as a 5x7 card blank, to the front I adhered some green and blue heart patterned paper.  Next I cut a mat from blue glitter card for my topper.  The topper was a remnant from another card and has fabric trousers.  The elephant topper was adhered to the glitter mat and added to the card blank.  Next I cut a strip of coordinating striped paper to go down the card vertically.  Onto this I stamped my sentiment using black soot distress ink and Crafter's Companion 'S.W.A.L.K get well soon' stamp set.  I then inserted two flower brads in between the sentiment words.  This was then mounted onto glitter card and added to the card.

Paper Pieced Mushroom - New Home

Hello bloggers today's card is for a New Home.

This card began as a 5 1/2" square kraft card blank.    First I cut some purple glitter card to 5" square to form a mat for the card blank.  Some lavender card stock was cut to 4 1/2" square to make another mat.  Both mats were then adhered to the card blank.  Next onto some white card stock I stamped the mushroom image which is from Whiff of Joy Stamps (sorry don't know the name of this stamp).  I then stamped the image several times onto different patterned papers and cut these out to paper piece the image.  The pieces were attached to the white stamped image and then it was cut out and adhered to the card stock.  The sentiment was stamped using the alphabet stamp set and crystal peg from Stamping with Dimension and using dusty concord distress ink.  This was then die cut using Spellbinders 'back to basic tags', whilst still in the die I inked through with dusty concord distress ink.  Finally the tag was adhered to t

he top of the card stock and a button was added to disguise the tag hole.

Treemendous - Sketch

Hello bloggers, a card made using a sketch today.

This card began as an A6 white hammered card blank.  First I cut some blue glitter card to make a mat slightly smaller than the card blank.  Next I cut some navy card  stock to make a smaller mat to sit on top of the glitter card mat.  These mats were then adhered to the card blank.  Using an off cut of striped card stock I cut a strip of card to make a ribbon strip across the card and adhered it into place.  From the glitter card mat I punched out two glitter stars and adhered them to the ribbon strip.  You can not see the cut out stars as the navy mat covers the cut outs.  Next I cut a star shape out freehand, I must admit I struggled with this shape and must have cut it out half a dozen times.  Onto the star shape I stamped a tree image using distress ink faded jeans and a stamp set from Creative Expressions 'trees, leaves and flowers'.  The star was  then adhered to the card base.  Finally I stamped my sentiment using faded jeans distress ink and Clarity Stamps 'letterbox' stamp set.  This was then cut out by hand and adhered to the card blank.

This card is being entered into the following challenge:-
