Pool Snooker Congratulations 21 Decoupage Twisterpage

Hello bloggers I hope you are all well and had a good weekend.  Today I have a 21st Birthday card for a male.

This card began as an A4 sheet of green card stock that I cut and scored to make an A5 card blank.  Next using Crafter's Companion 'hobbies' CD-ROM I printed off two backing papers and a decoupage sheet.  I cut one backing paper to fit the front of the card and adhered it into place.  I then cut a mat for the topper to sit on from the other backing paper and adhered it into the centre of the card.  Next I cut out the decoupage and then layered it up using foam pads.

Using an off cut of backing paper I die cut the 21 using Xyron Personal Cutting System and 'basic fonts' book.  The numbers were then adhered below the decoupaged topper.  Finally I added a silver 'congratulations' peel off to the bottom of the card and coloured in the lines with a green ProMarker.

Frou Frou Special Wishes Female Card Tied Together

Hello bloggers well the weather has changed drastically and we had a dull day yesterday with no sun at all which was the ideal time to strawberry pick.  Love being able to pick my own for free when strawberry season is in full flow.  Back to today I have a female card made using the tied together embossing folder and Frou Frou digi kit.

This card began as an A4 sheet of white card stock that I cut and scored to make a 4.75 x 5.75 card blank.  First I took a piece of white card stock and cut it down the the card blank size.  Next using tumbled glass distress ink and 'tied together' embossing folder I inked the folder front with the ink and then embossed the card stock. The ink then transferred to the background and the embossed areas are still white.    Next using Crafter's companion 'frou frou' digit kit I printed out a sheet of different toppers that I like.  I then chose a topper and die cut it using Spellbinders' heart circles' die set.  I then added the topper to the centre of the card.

Next using Polkadoodles 'sensational sentiments' stamp set and tumbled glass distress ink I stamped the sentiment.  It was then die cut using Spellbinders 'fancy tags two' die set and then to the card.  Using some blue ribbon I tied a bow and adhered it at the top of the topper.  I then added two faux pearls to the sentiment to finish off the card.

Best Teacher Gift Handmade Notelet/Memo Block s.w.a.l.k.

Hello bloggers I hope you are enjoying the weekend.  Today I have something a little different still paper crafting but this is not a card its a little notelet ideal for teacher gifts or stocking fillers.

 Front closed

Open

Inside

This began as an A4 sheet of 160gsm white card stock.  I then printed a polka-dot design on the front.  You could always use patterned papers, but if you are into CD crafting like me you can print whatever you like to match the occasion.

Next I cut the A4 sheet in half on the short side, so that you end up with too long strips.  I then adhered these together using spray adhesive.  You could omit this part if you use thicker card and print it on both sides then you could get two out of an A4 sheet instead of one.  If you do double sided printing you want one side printed so that the print is upside down and the other side is the right way up.  Depending on your choice of pattern this may not be necessary.

Now to score this will depend how big your notelet block is mine was 85mm square so I scored at 3", 3.5", 7" & 7.5".  Next burnish the scored lines.  I then shaped the front of the notelet using Spellbinders 'grand scallop circles' die set.  You could also use a punch or add ribbon to decorate the edge.  Once the front edge was die cut I positioned a velcro dot as a closer.  I then began to decorate  the front.

First I stamped onto white card stock using Crafter's Companion s.w.a.l.k. 'best teacher' stamp set and staz-on ink pad.  I then die cut it using Spellbinders 'labels 26' die set.  Once die cut I inked the edges with festive berries distress ink.  I then coloured the apples with pencil crayons to add some colour to the topper.  The topper was then adhered to the front of the notelet.

I have made these many times sometimes I also attach the same image inside as the front of the notelet block but on this occasion I didn't.  You can dress these up as much or as little as you like.

Paddington Bear Merry Christmas ~ Serif 8x8

Hello bloggers I hope that you have had a good week so far.  Today I have a card that I create in Serif but then separated the different elements out to print them off separately so that I could make a card up.

This card began as an 8x8 white card blank.  First I went into serif and added my digikit Paddington at Christmas from a set made by create and craft.  I then began to assembled the card on the screen adding different elements.  Once I was happy with what I had designed I spilt the design down into individual pieces and printed them onto white card stock.  I printed a backing paper and a topper with a sentiment.

The backing paper was cut down to 8x8 and then adhered to the front of the card.  Next using Spellbinders 'grand circles' die set I cut out the topper and then adhered it to the front of the card.  The sentiment was die cut using Spellbinders 'edgeabilities bracket die' set.  I positioned it all the way around the sentiment and had to cut four times.  The sentiment was then added at the bottom of the card.  Very simple Merry Christmas card.

This card began as an A4 sheet of centura pearl card stock that I cut and scored to make a 5x5 card blank.
Next I used a pretty blue floral patterned paper from my stash and cut it to fit the front of the card where it was adhered in place.  I then used an off cut of blue polka dot paper and cut a strip to fit across the middle of the card.

I then used some more of the same polka dot paper and Marianne 'flower' die set to die cut four flowers.  Once die cut I inked one completely with tumbled glass distress ink,  I inked the edge on another and then left the other two blank.  Using an embossing tool I shaped the flower before layering them up.  A faux pearl was adhered into the centre of the flower.

The flower was then adhered to the right of the card on the polks dot strip.  Next using Spellbinders 'crown circles'  die set I cut my sentiment topper.  It was then stamped using Polka Doodles 'sensational sentiments'  stamp set and tumbled glass distress ink.  The completed sentiment was adhered to the left on the polka dot strip.  Finally using some green pearlescent paper I die cut two corner sprigs using Spellbinders die d-lites 'corner sprigs' die set.  These were added to the top and bottom right hand corners to finish the card.

World's Best Dad Happy Father's Day ~ Docrafts Digital Designer Me To You Especially For You Tatty Teddy

A pinch and a punch it's the first of the month, can't believe half the year has almost gone.
Hello bloggers well I haven't seen the sun for a while now and was hoping it might appear yesterday day but alas it didn't so I spent the day working. Today I have a lovely  Me To You Tatty Teddy card for you with a Father's Day theme.

This card began as a light blue A4 sheet of cardstock that I cut and scored to make a 6x6 card blank.  Next I used Docrafts Digital Designer Me To You  'especially for you' CD-ROM. I selected several element and designed my card.  I then dissected it so that I could print out the different elements separately.  These were then printed onto white cardstock and cut out.  Next I began to put the card together I adhered the backing paper with the topper already in place.  Next I added the ribbon strips to the top and bottom of the card.  They were already complete with the text.  I then adhered another ribbon strip between the main topper and the 3 smaller side toppers.  Finally to complete the card I punched out the three faux buttons and adhered them down the centre ribbon using foam pads to give them some dimension.
