Thanks For Your Support ~ Corset Green

Hello bloggers I have another girly card today.

This card began as an A4 sheet of topsy turvy card stock that I cut and scored to make a 6" square card blank.  Next I took an A4 sheet of green pearlescent paper and cut it to size before punching the corners using a Martha Stewart 'punch around the page' punch set.   I then stamped the corset onto the paper using Staz-on black ink pad and Creative Expressions 'frilly things' stamp set.  I then distressed the edges of the topper using black soot distress ink before adhering it to the front of the card.

Next I added a hand tied bow using some green and white ribbon.  This was adhered onto the bow on the corset.  The sentiment was stamped onto a different shade of green pearlescent paper using staz-on black ink pad and the same stamp set as above.  I t was then die cut using Spellbinder 'back to basic tasgs' die set.  I added a green brad to either side of the tag and then adhered it to the bottom of the card using foam pads.

Road Runner Beep Beep ~ Happy Birthday Uncle

Hello bloggers, today I have a male card for an uncle.

This card began as an A4 sheet of topsy turvy card stock that I cut and scored to make a 5"square card blank.  Next I used Crafting With Looney Tunes CD-ROM  to print off a topper for my card.  I then cut it out and adhered it to the left hand side of the card.  Using an off cut of topsy turvy card I used the lighter colour to die cut my sentiments using Tattered Lace 'die sentiment blocks' and 'family sentiment' die sets.  The sentiments were then adhered to the right hand side of the card.

Happy Birthday ~ Fairy Butterfly

Hello bloggers I hope that you all enjoyed a lovely weekend.  Today I have a birthday card for the butterfly and fairy lovers.

This card began as a white 8x8 card blank.  First using a fairy floral backing paper from my stash I cut it down to 8x8 and adhered it to the front of the card.  Next using a piece of purple topsy turvy card stock I die cut a butterfly using Spellbinders 'les papillions' die set.  I cut one using the lighter side of the card stock and one using the darker side to give some colour contrast.  I then layered up the butterfly and adhered it to the right of the card.  Next I added some faux pearls as the butterfly rail.  Using the same topsy turvy card stock I die cut the sentiment using Tattered Lace 'sentiment block' die set. Again I turned the card stock over to get the contracting shades of purple.  The sentiment was added to the top of the card.  Finally a faux pearl was added above and below the sentiment.

A Nurse Is An Angel In Disguise ~ Thank You

Hello bloggers I hope that you are well and have had a good week.  Today I have a thank you card for a nurse.

This card began as a white 8x8 card blank. First I printed off a backing paper, decoupage sheet and sentiment sheet using Crafter's Companion 'occupations' CD-ROM.  Next I fussy cut out all the elements that I needed to assemble the card.  The backing paper was cut down to make a mat for the front of the card.  Next I layered up my twistapage decoupage using glue so that it was flat to save on postage costs.  I then cut a mat for the topper using an off cut of topsy turvy card stock.  The thank you sentiment and mat were punched out using circle punches.  The sentiment was matted onto the same topsy turvy card stock and hand cut to the same shape as the sentiment.  Finally all the pieces were adhered to the front of the card.

Floral Happy Birthday Mum ~ upcycled recycled

Hello bloggers Monday has come around pretty quickly again.  I hope you all had a good Mothering Sunday.  Today's card is a floral birthday card for mum.

This card began as a pink sheet of Topsy Turvy card stock that I cut and scored to make a DL card blank.  Next I recycled a topper from an old shop brought card.  After cutting it out by hand  I adhered it onto some pink pearlescent paper and the cut it out to leave a small mat.  The topper was adhered to the bottom of the card.  Next using some silver mirror board and Spellbinders 'Asian accents' die set I cut a topper for my sentiment.  The sentiment was die cut from some striped card stock and used Tattered Lace 'family sentiments for all occasions' and 'sentiment blocks' die sets.  Once die cut the sentiments were adhered to the centre of the silver mat.  The sentiment topper was then adhered to the top of the card. Finally I added a faux pearl to each corner of the card.

Mum ~ Marianne Butterflies

Hello bloggers back with another Mother's Day card today.  I hope you had a good weekend we had sun on Sunday yippee.

This card began as an A4 sheet of pink Topsy Turvy card stock that I cut and scored to make card blank 4.5" x  6.5".  Next I cut some pink wavy stripped paper to slightly smaller than the card blank and adhered it to the front of the card.  Using some white butterfly glitter card I cut a smaller mat for my lettering, which was adhered to the front of the card.  The letters we cut using the Xyron Personal Cutting System using the basic fonts book.  Then I cut a shadow for the letter using the same system.  These were then adhered to the front of the card to spell out mum.  Finally using some pink glitter card and Marianne Dies 'butterflies' I die cut three small butterflies to sit on the letters.  The butterflies were adhered to the letters to finish off the card.

Birthday Wishes

Hello bloggers today's card is a cute birthday card.

This card began life as an A4 sheet of pink topsy turvy cardstock that I scored and folded to make a DL card to fit an envelope I had in my stash.  First I adhered a piece of striped patterned paper to the top of the card and then adhered a contrasting floral one to the bottom.  A strip of pink ribbon was adhered over the join. Next I cut a rectangle from pink glitter cardstock to mount the topper onto.  The topper is a remnant from another card and the dress on it is made of fabric.  The topper was adhered to the glitter card and the whole thing was adhered to the card.  Next using an off cut of pink topsy turvy cardstock I cut a strip for my sentiment.  I then stamped my sentiment on the reverse of a piece of the topsy turvy cardstock to get a contrast in shades.  The stamp used was Polkadoodles ' sensational sentiments' and I stamped it with black soot distress ink.  The sentiment was adhered to the darker pink strip of cardstock and this was then adhered to the card.  Finally I tied a ribbon bow using the same ribbon as before to finish off the card.
