A Friend ~ Butterfly and Flourish

Hello bloggers I hope you all had a good start to the week.  My week started out with a few ups and downs to keep me on my toes.  Today I have a friend card with butterflies and flourishes.

This card began as an A4 sheet of white card stock that I cut and scored to make a card blank 4.5x6.5.  Next I took a piece of white card stock and embossed with this a flourish embossing folder.  I then began to ink all over the paper using scattered straw, spiced marmalade, festive berries and peeled paint distress inks.
Next my sentiment was stamped onto white card stock using staz-on black ink and Creative Expressions 'sensational sayings' stamp set.  Once stamped I die cut it using Spellbinders 'butterfly circles' die set.  The topper was then adhered to the embossed piece and then it was adhered to the front of the card.  Finally I used the waste from the butterfly circle die.  I took four of the butterflies and wiped each one over the ink pads I used to distress the base of the card.  I then adhered the butterflies around the sentiment.

Butterfly Kisses to you ~ Butterfly Circles & Les Papillion washi tape

Hello blogger's Monday soon comes around, I hope you had a good weekend I know I did.  Today I have a sunny yellow butterfly card.

This card began as an A4 sheet of topsy turvy card stock that I cut  and scored to make a 4x7 card blank.  Next using a left over piece of yellow patterned paper I cut it to size and then added washi tape to the top and bottom of the paper.  The paper was then adhered to the card blank.  Next using topsy turvy card stock and Spellbinders 'butterfly circles' die set I  die cut two different sizes from the set.  The smaller die cut was use using the pale yellow side.  On to this I stamped my sentiment using staz-on ink black and Particraft butterfly 2 " stamp set.  The larger die cut was used using the yellow side.  The two pieces were layered up and adhered to the card.

Next I used the same topsy turvy card stock to die cut the butterflies using Spellbinders 'les papillions' die set.  They were then sprayed with Crafter's Companion spray and sparkle.  Once dried they were adhered to the bottom of the card.  Finally I used a black pen to add the trails behind the butterflies.

Congratulations On Your Marriage ~ Spellbinders butterfly circles and Stamp' in up love and laughter stamp set

Hello bloggers I hope you had a good weekend and managed to enjoy the sunshine.  Today I have a wedding card for you as we are now in the wedding season.

This card began as an A4 sheet of white card stock that I cut and scored to make a 6x5.5 card blank.  Next using Stampin' Up love and laughter stamp set and Adirondack water melon ink pad I stamped the heart randomly on the front of the card.  Using Kaiser crafts sweet pea  paper pack and Spellbinders 'butterfly circles' die set I cut out the centre topper.  I also die cut one from gold pearlescent paper.  The two dies cut were then adhered together with the slight twist so that the butterflies were of centre slightly with each other.

Next I stamped the wedding cake onto the topper using the same stamp set as above and black soot distress
ink.  Once stamped the topper was adhered into the centre of the card.  The sentiments were stamped using the same stamp set and black soot distress ink onto the same patterned paper used for the topper.  I then cut them out and matted them onto some gold pearlescent paper.  The sentiments were then adhered into place at the top left and bottom right corners.
