Thank You Gardening ~ Roald Dahl James And The Giant Peach ~ Decoupage

Hello bloggers I hope you had a good day yesterday and managed to get some crafting into your busy day.  Today I have another gardening thank you card.

This card began as an A4 white card blank.  First I used Cameo Crafts Designs 'gardener's delight' CD-ROM, to print out the wood effect paper for the front of the card.  Next using Serif Craft Artist software and Serif Roald Dahl digikits collection 2, I designed the top of the card with the spider and thank you with the peach as the O.  The plant pot and trowel image was imported into Serif from Cameo Crafts Designs 'gardener's delight' CD-ROM to complete the topper.  I then printed out the topper and adhered it to the front of the card.  Next I imported the wellingtons and spade images from  gardeners delights into Serif.  I then copied the image of the wellington three times so that I could decoupage it up.  I then printed out the images.  I fussy cut the wellingtons and the spade and inked the edges.  The first wellington was adhered to the bottom right of the topper using foam pads.  I then added the spade at an angle so that it looked like it was behind the wellingtons.  The other two  layers were added with foam pads to complete the card.

Thank You ~ No Place Like Gnome ~ Gardening

Hello bloggers I hope you are well.  Today I have a card to go with the watering can I made yesterday.

This card began as an A4 white card blank.  First using Cameo Crafts Designs 'gardener's delight' CD-ROM, I printed off a wood effect backing paper onto white card stock.  I then cut this down slightly to leave a border of white around the edge of the card and adhered it into place.  Next using a digikit by Kate Hadfield called no place like gnome I digitally created a topper for the card by adding different elements from the kit and layering them up.  I added shadows and moved things back to add depth to the topper. Using the text tool I add the text to the top left of the card.  Once I was happy with the topper I printed it out at 75% so that it would fit onto my A4 card with a border.  I then cut it to size and adhered it to the front of the card.

Thank you Flowers and Mouse Makey Bakey Mice Everyday

Hello bloggers I hope you are keeping well and getting some crafting done.  Today I have another take on a thank you card.

This card began as an A4 white card stock that I cut and scored to make a card blank 7.5x5.5.  Next I printed off the backing paper and topper sheet using Crafter's Companion Makey Bakey Mice CD-ROM.  Once printed I cut out the elements.  The backing paper was cut to size and adhered to the front of the card.

Next I matted the topper onto some black and silver holographic mirror board.  The topper was then adhered to the left hand side of the card.  The sentiment was stamped next using Crafter's Companion S.W.A.L.K. 'thank you' stamp set and black soot distress ink.  I then die cut it using Spellbinders 'fancy tags two' die set.  The sentiment tag was inked around the edge using tattered rose distress ink before being added to the right hand side of the card.
