Fairy Special Sister ~ Fairy Decoupage

Hello bloggers I hope you are enjoying the weekend and stunning weather we are having here in the UK.
Today I have a fairy decoupage card for you.

This card began as a white 6x6 card blank.  First I added a patterned paper to the front of the card, this paper came from Kaiser Crafts 'sweet pea' paper pad.  I then took another paper from the pack and die cut it using Spellbinders 'heart squares' die set.  I adhered this to the centre of the card at an angle so it looks more like a diamond than a square.

Next I popped out the fairy decoupage which is from Katy Sue Designs.  I then layered it up using foam pads before adhering it into the centre of the diamond.  Onto white card stock I stamped the sentiment using spiced marmalade distress ink and Crafter's Companion Flower Fairies Friends 'sweet pea stamp set.  Once stamped I die cut it using Spellbinders 'fancy framed tags one' die set.  Once die cut I inked the edges of the die cut using the same distress ink as before.  Finally I added the decoupage and sentiment to the card.

A Little Note SWALK

Hello bloggers I spent yesterday at the allotment moving loads and loads of wood and bricks as the rain stayed away.  I hope you all had a great day too.  Today's card is a sweet card featuring a little note sentiment.

This card began as a white 5x7 card blank.  First I stamped my topper onto white card stock using aged mahogany distress ink and Crafter's Companion SWALK 'a little note' stamp set.  It was then die cut using Spellbinders 'scallop labels one' die set.  Next using some green pearlescent paper I die cut a mat for the topper using Spellbinders 'grand labels one' die set.   I added some green striped paper to the front of the card and then adhered the mat to the centre.  The topper was coloured with ProMarkers and then added to the mat.  The sentiments were stamped using the same ink and stamp set mentioned above.  They were then die cut using Spellbinders 'fancy framed tags one' die set. Once die cut the top sentiment I cut off some of the tag features to make it look different.  Both sentiments were them added to the card top and bottom.

Birthday Wishes ~ Flowers and Bee vintage paper

Hello bloggers today's card is a lovely birthday card made with vintage paper and stamping.

This card began as a 5x7 white card blank.  First I stamped a strip of flowers onto white card stock using a free flower stamp from my stash and fired brick distress ink.  I then coloured the flowers using a ProMarker.  Next I cut the flowers into a strip to fit the size of the card and also cut a mat slightly larger from some red mirror board.  The flower strip edge was inked with a ProMarker.  The topper and mirror board were layered up and adhered to the card blank down the left hand side.  Next I added some yellow vintage patterned paper to the rest of the card blank and then cut it down to size.  Using some white card stock I stamped another flower and then stamped a bee using mustard seed distress ink and Anita's stamp selection 'animals'.  I then die cut the topper using Spellbinders' label B' die set.  I also cut out a mat for the topper using the same die set and red mirror board.  The topper was edged with a promarker and then the mat and topper were layered up and attached to the card blank.  Using Polka Doodles 'sensational sentiments' stamp set and mustard seed distress ink I stamped the sentiment onto some white card stock.  This was then die cut using Spellbinder 'fancy framed tags one' die set.  From some red mirror board I die cut a mat for the sentiment using Spellbinder 'fancy framed tags one' dies set.  The edge of the sentiment was inked up with mustard seed distress ink and adhered to the mat.  The sentiment was then adhered to the card blank.  Finally in four corners of the card I added a little motif which was the waste from the sentiment mat die cuts.
