The Flowers of Tomorrow ~ Bear With Flower

Hello bloggers well the weekend has arrive, lets hope it's a good one. Today I have a card with a lovely sentiment and it could be used for many different occasions

This card began as an A4 sheet of white card stock that I scored to make an A5 card blank.  Next I added a purple floral patterned paper from my stash to the front of the card.  The topper I stamped and coloured ages ago and never used, so no details for that I'm afraid.  The topper was inked around the edge using a ProMarker to give a faux mat.

The sentiment was stamped onto white card stock using dusty concord distress ink and Creative Expressions 'sentimental sayings' stamp set.  The sentiment was then die cut using Spellbinders 'labels 33' die set. I left the card in the die and inked around the edges with the same ink pad.   Finally the sentiment and topper were adhered to the card.

Happy Birthday To You ~ Decoupage Train Map

Hello bloggers I hope you are well and enjoying the weekend so far.  Today I have a card for the train lovers.

This card began as a white 6x6 card blank.  First I adhered the map paper to the front of the card.  This was printed off Debbie Moore's 'card's for men' CD-ROM.  The decoupage was also printed using the same CD-ROM.  Once it had been fussy cut out I went around the cut lines with a black ProMarker.  I then layered up the decoupage using foam pads.  Once assembled the topper was added to the centre of the card.  Next I stamped the sentiment onto some white cardstock using black soot distress ink.  I then die cut it using Spellbinders 'labels 33' die set.  Whilst still in the die I inked through with faded jeans distress ink.  Finally the sentiment was adhered below the topper.

Happy Father's Day ~ Vintage Cars

Hello bloggers I hope you had a good weekend.  Today I have a very simple card for Father's Day.

This card began as an A4 sheet of centura pearl card stock that I scored to make an A5 card blank.  Next I adhered a car patterned paper from my stash to the front of the card.  The sentiment was type up on the computer using word and then printed onto white card stock.  This was die cut using Spellbinders 'labels 33' die set, whilst still in the die I inked through with pumice stone distress ink.  The sentiment was then adhered to the centre of the card.

You Mean The World To Me Mum ~ Creative Expressions Festive Florals

Hello bloggers I hope that you are well and are managing to get some crafting squeezed in this week.  Today I have a Mother's Day card with a blue theme.

This card began as a white 8x8 card blank.  First I cut a piece of blue squared patterned card stock and a blue polka dot paper to size and then adhered them to the front of the card.  Next onto white card stock I stamped the flowers using black soot distress ink and Creative Expressions 'festive florals' stamp set.  I stamped the image three times and then fussy cut them out before colouring them in using ProMarkers.  The flowers were then adhered to the top part of the card.  Using the same stamp set and ink I stamped the sentiment onto white card stock and then die cut it using Spellbinders 'labels 33' die set.  Whilst still in the die I inked through with tumbled glass distress ink.  The sentiment was then adhered to the card.  Next using some turquoise blue card stock I cut out the 'mum' letters using Xyron Personal Cutting system and special edition 3 book.  The mum letters were then adhered to the bottom of the card.

Mum I Am

Hello bloggers I have another Mother's Day card for you today.  Mother's Day is on Sunday the 30th March here in the UK.

This card began as a white 8x8 card blank.  First using dusty concord distress ink I inked up the card blank.  Next I printed off the topper using My Craft Studio 'Another Walk in Wonderland' CD-ROM.  This was then cut out and matted onto some black and silver patterned mirror board. The topper was added to the left hand side of the card.  Next using Creative Expressions 'sensational saying' stamp set and peeled paint distress ink I stamped the sentiment onto white card stock.  Using Creative Expressions 'button florals' stamp set and spiced marmalade distress ink I stamped a flower above and below the sentiment.  The sentiment was die cut using Spellbinders 'labels 33' die set.  Once die cut I inked the edges with peeled paint distress ink. A mat was cut for the sentiment from black and silver patterned mirror board using Spellbinders 'labels 33' die set.  These were adhered together and added to the right hand side of the card.

Happy Birthday Little Mischief ~ Decoupage

Hello bloggers I had a lovely day yesterday it was sunny and I spent the day at the allotment and then made a visit to the local library.  I hope that you all had a great day too.  On to today's card which is a quick decoupage card for a boy.

This card began as a white 5x7 card blank.  First of all I cut down some  patterned card stock to 5x7 and then adhered it to the front of the card.  Next I popped out my Little Mischief decoupage from the sheet and then filed off the locking pips with some sandpaper.  The decoupage was then layered up using foam pads and adhered to the left hand side of the card.  Using some blue patterned card stock I die cut it using Spellbinders 'labels 33' die set.  The label was then adhered down the right hand side of the card.  Next I added a 'happy birthday' sentiment from my stash to the top of the label 33 mat.  Finally I fussy cut the little  mischief topper from the decoupage sheet and adhered it below the sentiment.
