Hello bloggers I hope you had a good day yesterday and are well. Today's card is one featuring a water coloured Makey Bakey Christmas mouse.
This card began as an A4 sheet of green card stock that I cut and scored to make a 4.5 x 7 card blank. Next using an off cut of Makey Bakey Mice patterned paper originally printed from Crafter's Companion Makey Bakey Mice Christmas CD-ROM I covered the front of the card. The topper was stamped onto white card stock using bundled sage distress ink and Crafter's Companion Makey Bakey Mice stamp set 'holly jolly Christmas'. Once stamped I used bungled sage, festive berries and walnut stain distress inks to colour the image with a water brush. It was then die cut with Spellbinders 'labels 18' die set. I inked the edges with bundled sage distress ink. The sentiment was stamped onto white card stock using festive berries distress ink and a free stamp set from Crafter's Companion magazine issue 5. Once stamp it was die cut with the same die set as above. The edges were inked with festive berries distress ink and then adhered to the card with the topper. Finally I added a hand tied bow to the top of the sentiment made from some green metallic ribbon.
