Fairy Birthday Wishes Faux Pyramage Technique

Hello today's card is a fairy birthday wishes card using the faux pyramage technique.

Using white hammered card as the base card stock I score an A4 sheet to make an A5 card.  Next I cut a mat from glitter card slightly smaller than the card blank.  A length of polka dot ribbon was wrapped around the glitter card at the bottom and adhered behind.  The glitter card was then adhered to the base card.  A smaller length of ribbon was then tied around the ribbon wrapped around the card and the ends were cut at an angle.  Using an image that was printed from My Craft Studio Walk in Wonderland CD a topper was made.  To get the faux pyramage effect it was die cut using Spellbinders Hexagon dies.  These were layered up on the image as they were displayed in the packet. The dies cuts were then matted onto the glitter card using different depths of glue gel to give it the dimension and effect of a pyramage card.  Finally a sentiment from my stash was added.

Hope you like this one!   Happy Crafting xx Hazel
