Miracle

Hello bloggers for today's card I have gone for a brown theme with a chinese proverb.

This card began as an 8x8 white hammered card blank.  To the front I adhered some natural coloured handmade paper and then cut it down to size.  Next from some brown handmade paper I die cut the edges of the card using spellbinders 'asian accents' die set.  The paper was folded in half and two were cut at a time.  These were then adhered to the card edges using dries clear glue.  Next I printed the chinese proverb from My Craft Studio 'more than words' CD-ROM onto pearlescent paper.  This was then die cut using Spellbinders ' asian motifs' die set.  With some different shades of  brown paper I die cut three more of the same die I used with the proverb.  These were layered up at different angles so that the end effect looks like a flower.  This was then adhered to the card stock.  Using some copper coloured holographic mirror board I die cut four tags using Spellbinders ' back to basic tags' die set.  These were then attached to each other to make a frame using brads through the tag holes.  This was then adhered to frame the proverb.  The inner waste from the tags was then cut in half and adhered at the corners of the decorative edge.  A faux pearl was added on top in each corner.  Using the copper holographic mirror board again I die cut the shapes that are in each corner of the card it looks abit like a fleur de lys but was die cut from Spellbinders ' asian accents' die set.  The waste from this die was then made into a little flower and a faux pearl added it was then attached to the card in the bottom left corner of the proverb.
