We Wish You A Merry Christmas ~ Holly Wreath and Snowflakes ~ Decoupage

Hello bloggers today's card is back to the Christmas theme with this sweet little wreath card.

This card began as an off cut of Centura snow white card stock that I cut and scored to make a 4x3 3/4 card blank.  Next using off cuts of three different card stocks and Spellbinders Die D-lites 'holly wreath' die set I die cut three wreaths.  Whilst still in the die I inked through with tumbled glass distress ink.  Next I adhered the wreaths one at a time to the card blank, twisting them slightly so that you can see a little bit of all of them.  Once layered up I used an off cut of the snow white card stock and die cut the bow using the same die set as above.  The bow was adhered to the bottom of the wreath.

The sentiment was stamped onto the same light blue card stock as I used for the wreath using Stamping with dimension Christmas trees stamp set and staz-on black ink.  Once stamped I cut the sentiment down to size and used a corner rounder on the corners.  The sentiment was adhered to the bottom of the card.  Finally using an off cut of snow white card stock and a small snowflake punch to punch out several snowflakes.  Once punched out these were randomly adhered around the card.

Sorry bloggers to those of you that viewed the blog early yesterday I left it in draft again seems to be becoming quite a habit of mine.  Must try harder.  Today's card is a fairy card with a happy birthday sentiment.  This could be for any occasion if you changed the sentiment.

First I used white card stock and 'Fairy Gemstones' CD by Linda Ravenscroft, to print out the card base and two layers of decoupage.  The card base was scored in half.  I then used black soot distress ink and Kanban 'ticket' stamp set to stamp a sentiment all around the edge of the card.  The two different layers of decoupage were fussy cut out, which was a bit tricky in places as the design had very thin areas to cut.  Once cut out I layered the layers up with foam pads and adhered them to the card base to complete the card.

Roald Dahl ~ James And The Giant Peach Pillow Box Decoupage

Hello bloggers I hope that you are well and had a good start to the week.  Today I have another Roald Dahl creation this time a pillow box.

This project began as an A4 sheet of white card stock.  First I used Serif 'Roald Dahl Digikit collection 2' CD-ROM  to choose a template and then I added different elements to build up my design.  Once I was happy with it I printed it onto the white card stock.  Next I cut the pillow box out and then scored the score lines giving the box its shape.  I added a glue dot to each end to hold  the flaps together.  Next I added two images of a peach to a blank page and then printed it out onto white card stock.  I then fussy cut out the peaches.  They were decoupaged up onto the peach on the back of the pillow box.  I used the decoupage to act as a fastener to lock the flap into place.  A quick, fun and easy make.

I'm Game ~ Decoupage Spring Diamond Card

Hello bloggers I hope the weekend is going well for you.  Today's card is one for the fanatical gamer in your life.

This card began as an A4 sheet of Centura pearl card stock that I cut and scored to make a spring diamond card.  Next I printed off a sheet of toppers, decoupage and backing paper using Crafter's Companion 'hobbies' CD-ROM.  I fussy cut out the elements and set about layering up the hexagonal decoupage.  Next I used the backing sheet to cover the base, sides and top of the card.  The spring part of the card was then adhered into position using super sticky tape.  Next I added the topper to the top part of the card.  Finally I added two embellishments to the card base to finish it off.

Birthday Smiles ~ Looney Tunes Porky Pig decoupage

Hello bloggers I hope you had a lovely day yesterday we had glorious sunshine, so I managed to get into the garden for a pre-spring tidy up.  Today's card is a cheeky Porky Pig birthday card.

This card began as an A4 sheet of Centura card stock that I cut and scored to make a 5" square card blank. First I cut some blue pearlescent paper down to slightly smaller than the card blank to form a mat, this was then adhered to the front of the card.  Next I printed out a porky pig backing paper and decoupage topper using Looney Tunes CD-ROM.  Once printed the elements were fussy cut out.  The decoupage topper was layered up using foam pads.  The porky pig backing paper was cut to size to make a smaller mat for the front of the card.  Next using some blue pearlescent paper I die cut a mat for the topper using Spellbinders 'labels A' die set.  The mat and topper were adhered to the card.  Finally I added a sentiment from the same sheet to finish off the card.

Happy Birthday Little Mischief ~ Decoupage

Hello bloggers I had a lovely day yesterday it was sunny and I spent the day at the allotment and then made a visit to the local library.  I hope that you all had a great day too.  On to today's card which is a quick decoupage card for a boy.

This card began as a white 5x7 card blank.  First of all I cut down some  patterned card stock to 5x7 and then adhered it to the front of the card.  Next I popped out my Little Mischief decoupage from the sheet and then filed off the locking pips with some sandpaper.  The decoupage was then layered up using foam pads and adhered to the left hand side of the card.  Using some blue patterned card stock I die cut it using Spellbinders 'labels 33' die set.  The label was then adhered down the right hand side of the card.  Next I added a 'happy birthday' sentiment from my stash to the top of the label 33 mat.  Finally I fussy cut the little  mischief topper from the decoupage sheet and adhered it below the sentiment.

Marvel Captain America ~ Decoupage

Hello bloggers a quick card today as I have not been well.

This card began as a sheet of A4 card stock that I cut down to make a card blank 6" square.  First using some Captain America patterned paper I cut a 6" square to cover the entire front of the card.  Next I cut out and layered up my decoupage from a Marvel decoupage sheet.   I attached the decoupage topper to the card using foam tape.  Finally I added some sentiments from my stash as a border around the topper.

Marvel Spiderman Invertage Decoupage with Spellbinders Spider

Hello bloggers, what a day I had yesterday, didn't sleep well and then had a very early start.  Eventually ended up with a migraine which is never good.  Anyway I did manage to make a card so here it is.




This card began as a sheet of A4 water colour card that I cut and scored to make a card 4" Square.  Next I cut a mat from some Marvel Spiderman paper and adhered it to the card blank.  Next I popped out the invertage decoupage and filed down the locking pips and then assembled it to make my topper.  The topper was then adhered off set on the card front.  Finally I die cut a spider from black card stock using Spellbinders 'spider web' die set.  I added some cosmic shimmer pearl black PVA to make the eyes and adhered it to the card.  I didn't add a sentiment, so this card could be used for any occasion.

I Love Ewe Docrafts Hugs and Honey ~ Decoupage

Hello blogger's a bit of decoupage for you today a using CD-Rom.

This card began as a white A4 card stock.  First using Docrafts 'favourites edition' CD-ROM I designed my card using the computer by adding different elements until I had a completed card.  I then typed in my text and then printed the complete card onto the white card stock three times.  I kept on copy complete and cut it down and scored it to make an A6 card.  The second copy I cut out the feet, face and ears and on the third copy I cut out the  fleece on top of the head.  These elements were then layered up to create decoupage.
