A Merry Halloween Vintage ~ Halloween Greetings Witch Pumpkin

Hello bloggers I hope you are all well.  Today I have a break from the Christmas cards with a Halloween card.

This card began as an A4 sheet of card stock that I scored to make an A5 card blank.  Next I used a Halloween CD to print off the backing paper and topper.  I cut the backing paper down to size and adhered it to the front of the card.  I then cut out the topper and inked the edges with black soot distress ink.  The topper was then adhered to the card front.

Next using some white vellum and Spellbinders 'spider web' die set I die cut the spider web.  This was adhered into the top right hand corner of the card.  Next using a scrap piece of black card stock and a black and silver patterned mirror board off cut I die cut two spiders out of each card stock using the same die set as above.  The spiders were curved with an embossing tool to give them some dimension.  I added a spider to each corner of the card.

Marvel Spiderman Decoupage

Hello bloggers a pinch and a punch its the first of the month and April fools day.  Today's card is a card featuring decoupage.

This card began as an A4 sheet of navy card stock that I cut and scored to make a card 4x6.  Next I embossed the card front using Spellbinders 'spider web' die set.  The web was embossed twice once at the bottom left and once top right.  Next I adhered a strip of Marvel Spiderman patterned paper across the card.  Using Marvel decoupage sheet I popped out the decoupage pieces and then sanded the edges.  They were then layered up using foam tape and the edges inked with a ProMarker.  The completed topper was added to the front of the card.  Finally using some red card stock and Tattered Lace 'sentiment blocks' die set I die cut the 'happy birthday' sentiment and adhered them to the card.

Marvel Spiderman Invertage Decoupage with Spellbinders Spider

Hello bloggers, what a day I had yesterday, didn't sleep well and then had a very early start.  Eventually ended up with a migraine which is never good.  Anyway I did manage to make a card so here it is.

This card began as a sheet of A4 water colour card that I cut and scored to make a card 4" Square.  Next I cut a mat from some Marvel Spiderman paper and adhered it to the card blank.  Next I popped out the invertage decoupage and filed down the locking pips and then assembled it to make my topper.  The topper was then adhered off set on the card front.  Finally I die cut a spider from black card stock using Spellbinders 'spider web' die set.  I added some cosmic shimmer pearl black PVA to make the eyes and adhered it to the card.  I didn't add a sentiment, so this card could be used for any occasion.

BOo Happy Halloween

Hello bloggers, thought I would share another Halloween card with you today.

This card began as a 12x12 sheets of black cat card stock that I cut and scored to make a card blank 6x6.  First using perfect medium clear ink I stamped BOo randomly over the card blank using Clarity Stamps 'letterbox' stamp kit.  I then covered it with MCS crystal meltdust and then heat set it with a heat gun.  The masks were cut from orange card stock using Spellbinders 'venetian accents' die set.  On one mask I cut of some of the fancy bits to make it look slightly different.  Next I die cut the spiders using purple textured paper and Spellbinders 'spider web' die set.  To the spiders I added some googly eyes.    The masks and spiders were adhered to the card.  Finally I printed my sentiment from the computer and die cut it using Spellbinders 'labels E' die set, whilst still in the die I inked through with peeled paint distress ink.  The sentiment was the added to the center of the card.
