Especially For You ~ Gorilla Pollyanna Pickering World Wildlife

Hello bloggers I do hope that you are well and managing to get some craft into your busy day.  Today I have an especially for you card.

This card began as a white 8x8 card blank.  First I used Pollyanna Pickering World Wildlife DVD-ROM to print off a backing and topper sheet.  Once the toppers had all been fussy cut out I matted them onto both black and white card stock.  I then stamped my sentiment onto white card stock using Staz-on black ink pad and Creative Expressions 'sentimental sayings' stamp set.  The sentiment was then also matted onto black and white card stock.  Next I cut a sheet of A4 mirror board down to 8x8 and adhered it to the front of the card.  I then cut the backing paper to smaller than the card blank vertically so that you could see the mirror board top and bottom of the card.  Once the backing paper was in place I added my toppers and sentiment to the card.  Finally I adhered some thin black ribbon across the mirror board at the top and bottom of the card.

Bear with Flower ~ Spellbinders Die D-lites Medallion Nine

Hello bloggers I hope that you had a good week and are ready for an enjoyable weekend.   Today I have a simple card with a bear and a flower for you.

This card began as an A4 sheet of purple Topsy Turvy card stock that I cut and scored to make a card blank 7.5" x 4.5".  Next I took a stamped image from my stash and coloured it using ProMarkers.  Once coloured the edges of the topper were inked with dusty concord distress ink.  Next using an off cut of the purple card stock I die cut out the flower shapes using Spellbinders 'medallion nine' die set.  The flower strip was then adhered to the right hand side of the card and then cut to size.  Next the topper was adhered to the card.  Finally onto the same purple card stock I stamped my sentiment using dusty concord distress ink and Creative Expressions 'sentimental sayings' stamp set.  Once stamped the topper was cut to size and adhered to the top of the card.

A Friend ~ Spellbinders medallion nine

Hello bloggers I hope that you are all well and looking forward to the weekend.  Today I have a card about friendship and what it means to me.

This card began as an A4 sheet of purple Topsy Turvy card stock that I cut and scored to make a card
5 3/4 " x 4 1/4".    Next I used Spellbinders D-Lites 'medallions nine' die set to cut a flower aperture in the card front.  Then using some silver mirror board I die cut another medallion but this time I used the outer die too so that it was not left in the card stock. The silver mirror board medallion was then adhered on top of the medallion aperture at a slight angle to give the medallion more depth.  Next I added a faux pearl to the centre of the medallion.  Using some of the same Topsy Turvy card stock I stamped my sentiment using Creative Expressions 'sentimental sayings' stamp set and dusty concord distress ink.  This was then cut down to size and matted onto some silver mirror board.  The sentiment topper was then adhered to the front of the card.  Finally I added a purple hand tied bow to sit just above the sentiment.

Mum I Am

Hello bloggers I have another Mother's Day card for you today.  Mother's Day is on Sunday the 30th March here in the UK.

This card began as a white 8x8 card blank.  First using dusty concord distress ink I inked up the card blank.  Next I printed off the topper using My Craft Studio 'Another Walk in Wonderland' CD-ROM.  This was then cut out and matted onto some black and silver patterned mirror board. The topper was added to the left hand side of the card.  Next using Creative Expressions 'sensational saying' stamp set and peeled paint distress ink I stamped the sentiment onto white card stock.  Using Creative Expressions 'button florals' stamp set and spiced marmalade distress ink I stamped a flower above and below the sentiment.  The sentiment was die cut using Spellbinders 'labels 33' die set.  Once die cut I inked the edges with peeled paint distress ink. A mat was cut for the sentiment from black and silver patterned mirror board using Spellbinders 'labels 33' die set.  These were adhered together and added to the right hand side of the card.
