Spellbinders nested hearts and holiday tree

Hello bloggers today's card features some of my favourite Spellbinders dies.

This card began as a white 5x7 card blank.  First I added a sheet of  floral  patterned paper to the front of the card.  Next from some  red waxed paper I die cut my hearts using Spellbinders 'nested hearts' die set cutting all three sizes and embossing them.  I adhered the smaller heart to the middle sized heart.  The middle sized heart was then attached to the larger heart using some foam tape around the bottom edge to form a pocket.  I added a tag to the pocket that was printed from My Craft Studio 'a walk in wonderland' cd-rom.  To the top of the tag I punched a hole using a hole punch and threaded some organza ribbon through it. The hearts were then added to the card.  Next I added a pink chipboard  topper and stamped it with a sentiment using staz-on black ink pad and Creative Expressions 'sentimental sayings' stamp set.    Using some pink Centura pearl card stock I die cut the flourish on the sentiment and the corner pieces using Spellbinders
'fanciful holiday' die set.  I added these pieces to the card.     Next I die cut a tree using some green ribbed paper and Spellbinders 'holiday tree 2010'.  I then cut this up to make the leaves for my flower.  The flower was made using tulle and die cutting it using Spellbinders 'spiral blossom 3' die.

Imagine

Hello blogger's today's card is all about imagining.  It's such a powerful thing to do and without it somethings may never have been.

This card began as an A6 white hammered card blank.  First I inked up the card using tumbled glass distress ink.  Next I printed out a topper from My Craft Studio Walk in wonderland CD.  This was cut out by hand and mounted onto some blue glitter card then cut to size to make a mat.  Next using some shop brought embellishments, I added three butterflies across the card and a flower to three corners.

Hello bloggers,  I hope you have all been enjoying the beautiful weather I know I have.

Today's card is a fairy card, I just love the greens in this card.

I began with an A6 card blank in white hammered card stock.  Using a polka dot mask I inked through the mask using peeled paint distress ink to create the background for the card.  Next from some silver mirror board I die cut a mat for the image using a Spellbinders die (sorry can't remember the die name) and Labels 14 die for the sentiment.  I then printed the image topper from A Walk in Wonderland CD from My Craft Studio and die cut it using the same die as the mat but a smaller one and turned it so the dies were offset.  This was then adhered together and to the card blank.   Next using some green pearlised card stock I cut piece for the sentiment.  The sentiment is a sticker from Katy Sue Designs, which I adhered to the green mat.  This was then added to the silver mat and all mounted onto the card blank.

Thank you for Lifting My Spirits

Hello, today's card is a lovely Thank You card.  Hope you enjoy it.

I began with a piece of Centura Pearl Snow White card stock and from that made an 4x4 card base.  Next I embossed it with That Special Touch Mica Mask 'Bricks' and then inked it up with antique linen distress ink. From some holographic copper mirror board I cut a mat smaller than the card base and adhered them together.  Using My Craft Studio 'A Walk In Wonderland' cd I printed out a fairy topper, cut it out and adhered it to the copper mat.  Next I stamped the sentiment using black soot distress ink and stamp set 'buttons' from Creative Expression.  With spellbinders Labels 28 die I die cut the sentiment and then cut it down to fit the card as the original die cut was too deep and covered up to much of the card.  I inked the sentiment up with antique linen distress and and then adhered it to the card using foam pads.  finally I added a gem into each corner of the copper mat.
