Flower Fairies Marigold ~ To A Special Auntie

Hello bloggers I hope you are well, had a good week and are ready for the weekend.  Today I have a fairy card for an auntie.

This card began as an A4 sheet of orange topsy turvy card stock that I cut and scored to make a DL card blank.  Next I stamped the topper image onto white card stock using black soot distress ink and Crafter's Companion Flower Fairies 'Marigold' stamp set.  Once stamped it was die cut with Spellbinders 'labels 28' die set.  I then coloured the image using ProMarkers and inked the edge of the die cut shape with a ProMarker too.  The topper was then adhered to the top of the card.  Next I adhered a strip of lime green organza ribbon across the bottom of the card.  I then laid a strip of orange ribbon in the centre of the green ribbon.

The sentiment was stamped using the same stamp set as above and dried marigold distress ink.  It was then die cut with Spellbinders 'back to basic tags' die set.  I then inked the edge of the die cut with a ProMarker. The auntie text was die cut from some white card stock that I coloured with a ProMarker before die cutting it to get the colour right.  It was die cut using Tattered Lace 'family sentiments for All Occasions' die set.  The auntie wording was adhered to the tag.  Next I added a lime green brad to the tag and adhered it to the ribbon section of the card.

Happy Anniversary ~ Hunkydory

Hello bloggers I hope you are well and have managed to get some crafting into your weekend.  Today's card is for a wedding anniversary.

This card began as a white 5x7 card blank.  First using some textured red paper I cut it to 5x7 and then adhered it to the front of the card.  Next I stamped my image onto white card stock using walnut stain distress ink and Hunkydorky Golden oldies 'waltzing surprise' stamp set.  This was then coloured using whispers brushmarkers before being die cut with Spellbinders 'labels 28' die set.  Next using some holographic card stock I cut a mat for the topper using the same die set.  The mat and topper were adhered together and then attached to the card.  The sentiment was die cut using some red waxed paper from my stash and Tattered Lace 'die sentiments blocks' die set.  This was then run through my Xyron to apply adhesive before being attached to the topper.  Finally I stamped the sentiment onto white card stock using walnut stain distress ink and Hunkydorky Golden oldies 'waltzing surprise' stamp set.  This was then die cut using Spellbinders 'fancy tags two' die set.  Whilst still in the die I inked through with barn door distress ink.  The tag was then adhered to the top of the card.

Thank you for Lifting My Spirits

Hello, today's card is a lovely Thank You card.  Hope you enjoy it.

I began with a piece of Centura Pearl Snow White card stock and from that made an 4x4 card base.  Next I embossed it with That Special Touch Mica Mask 'Bricks' and then inked it up with antique linen distress ink. From some holographic copper mirror board I cut a mat smaller than the card base and adhered them together.  Using My Craft Studio 'A Walk In Wonderland' cd I printed out a fairy topper, cut it out and adhered it to the copper mat.  Next I stamped the sentiment using black soot distress ink and stamp set 'buttons' from Creative Expression.  With spellbinders Labels 28 die I die cut the sentiment and then cut it down to fit the card as the original die cut was too deep and covered up to much of the card.  I inked the sentiment up with antique linen distress and and then adhered it to the card using foam pads.  finally I added a gem into each corner of the copper mat.

Thank You for Lifting My Spirits

Hello, today's card is a lovely Thank You card.  Hope you enjoy it.

I began with a piece of snow white centura pearl card stock and cut it down to make an 4x4 card blank.  Next I embossed it with That Special Touch Mica Mask 'bricks'.  Then I added distress ink antique linen to give it some colour and show up the embossed detail. Next I cut some copper coloured holographic mirrored card stock to make a mat smaller than the card base and adhered it to the base.  From My Craft Studio 'A walk in wonderland' cd I printed out the fairy topper, cut it to size and adhered it to the copper mat.  Next using Creative Expressions 'button's stamp set I stamped the sentiment with black soot distress ink and then die cut it using Spellbinders 'labels 28' die. I then cut it down to fit my card and inked it with antique linen distress ink and adhered it to the card with foam pads.  Finally I added a gem in each corner of the copper mat.

Hope you all have a great day crafting.  Happy Crafting xx Hazel
