Happy Christmas Bagpuss

Hello bloggers I have gone all digital today with a card designed in Craft Artist Professional featuring Bagpuss.

This card is 16cm x11cm and was made using an A4 white card stock.  I used Craft Artist Professional and Bagpuss Christmas Digikit to create my design.

First I  added my background which is a red polka dot paper to cover the whole card.  I then added a parcel patterned material to the card, this was made slightly smaller than the card to leave a polka dot border.  Next I chose my embellishments, first I chose Bagpuss and shrunk it down to size and added it to the card.  I then made it into a sticker using the sticker tool.  The Christmas tree and mice were added next and this too was made into a sticker.  The Christmas tree was copied and pasted then shrunk to a very small size and rotated and added to the back of the card as an embellishment.

Finally I used the text box to choose my font style and size and to type in my message.  The complete card was printed onto the white card stock.  I then used my Brother Scan N Cut to cut out the card before scoring and folding it.

Happy Christmas Presents And Christmas Foliage

Hello bloggers I hope you had a good start to your week.  Today I have a digitally created card for you.

This card began as an A4 sheet of white card stock. I then used Docrafts Digital Designer 'Christmas pastimes' CD-ROM and created a card by adding different elements.  First I added the polka dot paper and then the Santa borders.  I then added the topper and made the ribbon banner across the bottom and added the text.  A tag was added to the bottom, it was flipped so it was facing the side I wanted it to and then I added the recipients names to the tag.  Finally I added some holly to each corner of the card  which I had to flip and rotate and a bow to the top of the topper frame.

Paddington Bear Sledging ~ Happy Christmas

Hello bloggers I hope you are keeping well and managing to get some crafting into your busy week.  For today's card I have gone along the Paddington Bear Christmas theme as the film is due out soon here in the UK.

This card began as an 8x4 piece of cream card stock that I scored to make a 4x4 card blank.    Next using faded jeans distress ink and inked the front of the card.  The topper was printed onto white card stock using Create & and Craft 'Paddington Bear' digikits.  Once printed I die cut it using Spellbinders 'crowned circles' die set.  Whilst still in the die I inked through with faded jeans distress ink.  I then used the same die to cut out a mat for the topper from some patterned Christmas vellum.  The mat and topper were intertwined and then adhered to the front of the card.

Finally I stamped the 'Happy Christmas' sentiment using a stamp set from my stash and faded jeans distress ink.  It was then die cut using Spellbinders die d-lites 'frame two' die set. I also cut a mat using the same die and cut it from the vellum that I used above.  The vellum mat was cut in half horizontally and then adhered to the back of the sentiment topper before being adhered to the bottom right of the card.
