Marvel Spiderman Decoupage Blue Acetate ~ Beats Waiting For A Bus

Hello bloggers, a quick card today for the boys.

This card began as a strip of blue acetate that I scored to make a 3.5x4 card blank.  Next using Marvel decoupage sheet I popped out the piece for Spiderman.  I then layered up the decoupage pieces with foam pads and adhered them to the card blank.  Finally I fuzzy cut some text out and added this to bottom left of the card.

Let It Snow ~ Snowflake Wonder ~ Frostyville ~ Acetate

Hello bloggers I hope you enjoyed a good start to a new week.  Today I have another acetate card with this lovely snowflake card.

This card began as an off cut of blue acetate that I scored to make a 4 x 3.5" card blank.  Next using some silver glitter card I die cut the border with Memorybox 'frostyville border' die.  I cut this one using some wax paper as it is very intricate and the paper helps it to release more easily.  The border was adhered across the bottom of the card.  Next using the same glitter card I die cut three snowflakes using Spellbinders 'snowflake wonder' die set.  The snowflakes were then adhered across the top part of the card.

The sentiment was stamped onto white card stock using Justrite 'large merry Christmas sentiments' stamp set and tumbled glass distress ink.  It was then cut to shape before being adhered to the top left of the card.

Snowflake Pendant ~ Create A Flake ~ We're Floating In The Moonlit Sky ~ Blue Acetate

Hello bloggers I hope that you enjoyed a good weekend.  Today I have another acetate card, think I've got quite an addiction to these at the moment.

This card began as an A4 sheet of blue acetate that I cut and scored to make a 4x4 card blank.  Next using some silver glitter card and Spellbinders 'snowflake pendant 2011' die set I cut the main snowflake and then adhered it to the front of the card.  With some light blue vellum and blue mirror board  I die cut two different snowflakes using Spellbinders 'create a flake three' die set.  The snowflakes were layered up onto the one on the card.

Finally I stamped my sentiment onto white card stock using Crafter's Companion 'the snowman' stamp set and tumbled glass distress ink.  It was then die cut with Spellbinders 'back to basic tags' die set.  Once die cut I ran the tag edges over the same ink pad as it was stamped with to give the edges a little colour.  The tag was then adhered to the top left hand corner of the card.
