Hello bloggers well what a lovely day yesterday was the sun was shining so I popped to the allotment for a few hours between work. The rhubarb has gone completely mad so I will be picking some on Sunday to make a lovely crumble and maybe some vodka too. Back to today and I have a card for a golfer. This could easily be used for many occasions such as Father's Day by just adding an additional sentiment.
This card began as a white 8x8 card blank. First I cut an A4 sheet of holographic mirror board to 8x8 and adhered it to the front of the card. Using Crafter's Companion 'hobbies' CD-ROM I printed off a backing sheet and a topper and sentiments sheet. Once printed the backing sheet was cut down to slightly smaller than the card blank and then adhered to the card front. Next the topper and sentiments were fussy cut out. The topper is a decoupaged one so this was layered up with doubled sided tape to keep postage costs down. The topper and sentiments were then matted onto silver holographic mirror board mats. The completed decoupage topper was adhered into the centre of the card and the sentiments were adhered in the four corners.
