Fireman Fire Fire Engine ~ Crafter's Companion Occupations

Hello bloggers I hope you are enjoying the Easter Weekend.  Today's card is another fireman card.  One of the emergency services that thankfully I have never had to use.

This card began life as a white 8x8 card blank.  First I cut an A4 sheet of gold holographic mirror board to slightly smaller than 8x8 and then adhered it to the front of the card.  Using Crafter's Companion 'occupations' CD-ROM I printed off a topper, sentiment sheet and backing paper.  A strip of backing paper was cut from the sheet and adhered to the top of the card.  Next using another strip of the backing paper I matted it onto gold holographic mirror board and adhered it down the left hand side of the card.  Another strip was adhered towards the bottom of the card in a horizontal position.  Next I fussy cut the toppers and sentiments.  The pyramage decoupage was layered up using foam tape and then adhered at the cross over point of the backing paper strips.  A sentiment complete with image was added to the right side of the card on the horizontal strip.  On the bottom  vertical strip a sentiment was added with an image and finally the topper was adhered to the backing paper strip across the top of the card.
Happy Crafting xx Hazel
