Seraphina and Friends ~ Happy Birthday Nephew

Hello bloggers I hope you are all well and had a good day yesterday.  I had a funny day couldn't craft that much as my hands were numb all morning but did manager to make a card.  Today's card is a fun card with a Nephew sentiment.

This card began as a white 5x7 card blank.  First I adhered some green striped paper to the front of the card.  Next I printed out my digistamp using Seraphina CD-ROM.  I then coloured the image with ProMarkers and die cut it using Spellbinders 'grand labels 4' die set.  Using some green handmade paper I die cut a mat for the topper using the same die set but the next size die up.  Next I took a strip of green pearlescent paper and punched a border strip using a Martha Stewart punch.  The border strip was adhered to the left hand side of the card.  Next I added the topper to the centre of the card.  Finally using the same green pearlescent paper I die cut the sentiments using Tattered Lace 'sentiment blocks' and 'family sentiments for all occasions' die sets.  The sentiments were then added to complete the card.

Decoupaged Marvel Spiderman Card with Spellbinder Spider

Hello bloggers as Christmas is now over for another year I have a card for those difficult to cater for boys in your life which features some decoupage.

This card began as a white 5x7 card blank.  First I added some black mirror board to the front of the card.  I then cut a mat from silver textured holographic card stock using Spellbinders 'grand labels 4' die set.  I then used the next size down in the set and cut a further mat from blue card stock.  The two mats were layered up onto the card front.  Next the topper was created out of Marvel Spiderman decoupage sheet.  The edges were inked up and then the layers were built up to created the finished topper which was then adhered to the mat.  From my stash I added a little sentiment to the bottom of the card.  Finally I die cut a spider from textured holographic mirror board using Spellbinders 'spider web' die set.  I adhered the spider to the top of the card and then added some Cosmic Shimmer 'black pearl' pva to form the eyes.

Hand embroidered snowflake

Hello bloggers for today's card I have hand embroidered a snowflake onto card stock.

This card began as a white 5x7 card blank.  First I adhered a snowflake patterned paper to the front of the card.  Next I took a piece of white card stock and mapped out a snowflake design and poked it through with a pokey tool.  I then sewed through the holes using embroidery thread to form the snowflake.  Next I die cut the snowflake using Spellbinders 'grand labels 4' die set.  I then stamped my sentiment  twice on the snowflake mat top and bottom, using tumbled glass distress ink and Crafter's Companion  'the snowman' stamp set.  Finally I inked the edges of the mat using tumbled glass  and evergreen bough distress ink, the topper was then adhered to the card.
