Grandma's Happy Mother's Day Crafter's Companion s.w.a.l.k.

Hello bloggers today I have a grandma card for you again this has a Mother's Day theme.

This card began as a sheet of A4 blue Topsy Turvy card stock that I cut and scored to make a 5x7 card blank.   First I added a blue checked paper mat to the front of the card leaving a border to show of the coloured card stock used.  Next the topper was stamped using walnut stain distress ink and Crafter's Companion S.W.A.L.K. 'grandma' stamp set.  The topper was die cut using Spellbinders 'labels 14' die set and then coloured with pencil crayons and Whispers permanent markers.  I added some glossy accents to the glasses on the topper.  Next using Topsy Turvy card stock I die cut a mat for the topper using Spellbinders 'labels 20' die set.  The topper and mat were added together and adhered to the card.  The sentiments were stamped onto white card stock using the same stamp set as above and broken china distress ink  These were fussy cut out and then added to the card using foam pads.  Next I stamped the 'happy mother's day' sentiment using broken china distress ink and a stamp from my stash, this was then punched out using a circle punch.  The sentiment was then added to the top left of the card.  Finally I added 3 faux pearls to the top right of the card.

You're Like A Flower..... Digistamp s.w.a.l.k

Hello bloggers I hope you are having a good weekend crafting.  I had a chilled Sunday apart from cooking the Sunday roast which is a must.  Today's card is the same image as yesterdays but a smaller version and coloured with a different medium.

This card began as a white 8x8 card blank.  First with a sheet of A4 Topsy Turvy card stock I cut this down to 8" square and then randomly stamped it with a flower using Stampin Up 'love & laughter' stamp set and staz-on black ink pad.  Next I cut a strip of striped paper to 3" wide and adhered it to the Topsy Turvy card stock.   Using an off cut from the Topsy Turvy card stock I cut a 1" strip and adhered it down the centre of the stripped card stock.   This was then all adhered to the card blank.  Next I die cut a mat for my topper using some pale blue polka-dot paper and Spellbinders 'grand scallop circles' die set.   The topper was printed from Crafter's Companion 's.w.a.l.k digistamps' CD-ROM and then coloured using pencil crayons.  Once coloured it was die cut using the same die as above for the mat.  The topper and mat were then adhered to the card.

Makey Bakey Mice ~ You Really Are Sew Special

Hello bloggers at present I am more into my sewing than I am my card making so today's card is quite apt I feel.

This card began as a white 5x7 card blank.  First I cut down some silver holographic mirror board to 5x7 and adhered it to the front of the card blank.  Next I cut some green patterned paper to 4.5x6.5 and adhered it to the front of the card.  I stamped my topper using Staz-on black ink and Crafter's Companion Makey Bakey  Mice 'stitched with love' stamp set onto some white card stock.  I then cut the topper into a rectangle and inked the edges with evergreen bough distress ink.  The image was then coloured using pencil crayons.  The topper was then adhered to the left hand side of the card.  The sentiment was die cut from white cardstock using Spellbinders Die D-lites ' frame two' die set.  I then stamped the sentiment using the same stamp set and ink pad.  The sentiment topper was then inked up with evergreen bough distress ink.  Finally the sentiment was adhered to the right hand side of the card.
