Tis The Season ~ Alternative Christmas Card Gothic ~ Holly Motif

Hello bloggers I hope you had a good week and have something nice planned for the weekend.  I have my nephews first birthday on Sunday so something nice going on up my way.  Today's card is an alternative Gothic Christmas card.

This card began as an A4 sheet of black patterned holographic mirror board that I scored to make an A5 card blank.  Next using Jem's Designs 'I'm screaming of a white Christmas' CD-ROM I printed off a topper and sentiment sheet.  The topper was cut out and adhered to the front of the card towards the bottom right hand corner using silicone glue.  Next I added some Cosmic Shimmer 'pearl silver' pva as faux pearls in each corner of the topper.

The sentiment was cut out and the edges were inked with a black ProMarker.  Next using some green patterned paper and Spellbinders 'holly motifs' die set I cut a mat for the sentiment.  The sentiment was adhered into the center of the motif and I added some more faux pearls using the same Cosmic Shimmer as above to the motif.  Finally the sentiment and mat were added to the top left of the card.

PC Perfect ~ To a Top Cop - Crafter's Companion Occupations

Hello bloggers I do hope that you had a good day yesterday and are now ready for a good weekend.  Today's card is a careers themed card for a policeman.

This card began as a white 8x8 card blank.  First I cut down an A4 sheet of gold patterned mirror board to 8x8 and adhered it to the front of the card.  Next using Crafter's Companion 'occupations' CD-ROM I printed out a topper and backing sheet with a policeman theme.  The backing paper was then cut to slightly smaller than the card blank to form a mat.  The topper, sentiments and embellishments were all fussy cut out.  The yellow embellishments were matted onto some of the gold mirror board as used above.  The blue embellishments were matted onto some blue pearlescent paper.  The toppers, sentiments and embellishments were then adhered to the card.

Laugh, Breathe, Love, Live

Hello bloggers I hope you are all well and had a good day yesterday.  For today's card I have a sentiment card, love this sentiment.

This card began as a white 6x6 card blank.  First to the front I adhered some green mirror board patterned with stars.   Next using some pale pearlescent green paper I die cut a mat for the topper using Spellbinders 'grand scallop circles' die set.  The mat was then adhered to the card blank.  The sentiment was stamped onto white card stock using bundled sage distress ink and Creative Expressions 'sentimental sayings' stamp set.  Next I die cut it using Spellbinders 'eyelet circles' die set.  Once die cut I threaded some green ribbon through the eyelet holes and tied the ribbon in a bow at the bottom.  Finally the sentiment topper was adhered to the card.

Summer treats - Ice-cream and cherries

Hello bloggers today's card is full of summer treats like ice-cream and cherries.

This card began as an A4 sheet of gold mirror card that I cut down and folded in half to make a 5x5 card blank.   I then adhered some gorgeous striped paper to the mirror board.  Next I added some 'dazzles' peel offs from Hot off the press and made up my topper.   Once the peel offs had been attached to the paper I began to colour them with ProMarkers to give them some detail.   A quick and simple card for a hot and summery day.
