Snookered - Happy Birthday Son

Hello bloggers today we have a birthday card for a snooker/pool mad young man.

This card began as a white hammered 6x6 card blank.  I printed off my background paper from Crafter's Companion 'hobbies' CD, this was printed on to some white pearlised linen paper.  I cut the paper to size and adhered it to the card blank.  Next I printed off a sheet of diamond pyrimage and began the task of cutting it out and mounting it up with foam tape.  The topper was then adhered to the card with double sided tape.  The two sentiments were then created.  The 'happy birthday' sentiment was made using bundled sage distress ink and Polka Doodles 'sensational sentiments' stamp set.  I then die cut this out using Spellbinders 'scallop labels one' die set.  Once die cut I inked the edges with the same ink and adhered it with foam tape to the card.  The second sentiment 'son' was made using Clarity Stamps 'letterbox' stamp set and bundled sage distress ink.  This was die cut using Spellbinders 'scallop labels one' dies.  Once removed from the die the edges were inked with the same ink.  The sentiment was adhered to the card with foam tape.

Happy Crafting xx Hazel
