Flowers Are The Music Of Life

Hello bloggers I hope you are well.  Today I have a card using die cut flowers.

The card began as a 6x6 white card blank.  First I added a Paper Mania pink/purple patterned paper to the front of the card.  Next I used Creative Expressions 'button floral' stamp set and dusty concord distress ink to stamp the sentiment in the top left of the card.  Next using a butterfly patterned paper from my stash I used Spellbinders 'spiral blossom 2,3 and 4 to die cut all the flowers out.  Once die cut I used a quilling tool to spiral the flowers up and then adhered them into place.  Finally the flowers were adhered to the right bottom corner of the card.

Fairy Decoupage ~ Flowers ~ Handmade Paper Vellum

Hello bloggers I hope you had a good day yesterday and managed to get some crafting into your busy week.  Today I have a fairy decoupage card for you.  This is without a sentiment mainly because I couldn't decide which one to choose, but this way it is also use-able for many different occasions.

This card began as a 12x12 sheet of purple card stock that I cut and scored to make a 6x6 card blank.  Next using some gold pearlescent paper I cut a mat to slightly smaller than the card blank and then adhere dit into place.  Using some purple handmade paper and Spellbinders 'crowned ovals' die set I cut a mat for the topper.  The decoupage topper elements were popped out of it's holding sheet and then layered up.  It was then adhered to the mat and this was added to the card.  Finally using some green vellum and a Martha Stewart flower border punch I punched out the flowers to form a border down the left hand side of the card.

Take Time To Smell The Flowers ~ Bear And Flower Brads

Hello bloggers I hope that you had a good start to the week.  Today I have a card with a sentiment that really rings true, with the busy lives we all lead it is a good idea to take time out to smell the flowers and appreciate nature every once in a while.

This card began as a 6x6 white card blank.  First I cut a mat for the front of the card using a green rose patterned paper from the 'English tea party collection' paper pack.  Next I used a topper from my stash that I stamped when I went to a stamping club so I don't know the name of the design.  This was coloured with ProMarkers.  I inked the edges of the topper with a ProMarker.  The topper was adhered to the top of the card at a jointy angle.

The sentiment I printed off in pink ink using a word document.  I then inked the edges with a ProMarker.  The sentiment was then added to the bottom of the card with metal flower brads. Finally I adhere the rose patterned paper mat to the front of the card.

The Season of Friendship Lasts Forever

Hello, bloggers just a quick card today as I have been ill :( and not felt up to much.

This card began as a 6x6 hammered white card blank. I then cut a piece of pink pearlised card stock and adhered it to the card front.  Next using three different coloured papers I die cut three shaped squares using Spellbinders 'Asian motif' dies.  These were then layered up at different angles to create my topper.  From Spellbinders' blossom five' dies I cut a small flower from white card stock and then stamped the sentiment using Victorian velvet distress ink.  The layers where then adhered to the card blank.
