Dad Cricket ~ Father's Day Birthday

Hello bloggers I hope you had a good day yesterday and managed to catch some sun.  Today I have a card for the males which could be for young or old for a birthday or Father's day.

This card began as an A4 sheet of centura pearl card stock that I cut and scored to make a 6x4 card blank.  Next I inked the edges of the card with peeled paint distress ink.  Using Crafter's Companion 'hobbies' CD-ROM I printed off the cricket backing paper and topper sheet.  The topper sheet was cut to slightly smaller than the card blank and adhered into place.    Next I cut out the topper and adhered it into the bottom right hand corner of the card.  Finally I stamped the sentiment using a dad stamp from hobbycraft and peeled paint distress ink.  This was then cut down to size and the edges were inked with peeled paint distress ink before being added to the top left corner of the card.

Howzat! ~ Cricket Mad Best Wishes Birthday

Hello bloggers I hope that you are well and back into the swing of the working week.  Today I have a birthday card for the cricket fanatic or it could be changed for father's day with a different sentiment.

This card began as a white 8x8 card blank.  First I printed out a backing paper, topper and sentiment sheet using Polka Doodles 'not for the girls definitely for men' CD-ROM.  Next I cut down the backing paper to 8x8 and adhered it to the front of the card.  I then cut out the border strip and adhered it across the card.  The sentiment and topper were fussy cut out.  The topper was then matted onto some green holographic mirror board before being adhered to the right hand side of the card.  Finally I added the sentiment onto the left side.

HOWZAT!! Cricket Perfect Catch ~ Crafter's Companions Hobbies

Hello bloggers its back to work for most of us unless you are lucky enough to get Easter off.  So today I have a cricketers card that could be used for a birthday or Father's Day which will be upon us before we know it.

This card began as a white 8x8 card blank.  First I used an A4 sheet of green ribbed paper and cut it down to slightly smaller than 8x8 and adhered it to the front of the card.  Next using Crafter's Companion 'hobbies' CD-ROM I printed out a topper and sentiment sheet.  Once cut I matted two of the sentiments and the topper onto red mirror board.  These were then adhered to the card.  The final sentiment and cricket ball embellishment were just adhered straight onto the card.
