Marvel Captain America twisterpage ~ Super Guy

Hello bloggers today I have a guy card for you featuring Marvels Captain America.

This card began as a white 5x7 card blank.  First I cut down a sheet of Marvel Captain America patterned paper to 5x7 and then adhered it to the front of the card.  Next I  popped out the decoupage from the decoupage sheet.  I filed off the locking pips and then inked the edges before mounting up the twistapage decoupage with mounting foam.  Using Spellbinders 'labels one' die set I cut a mat from some dark blue mirror board.  The topper was attached to the mat and adhered to the card.  The sentiment was from the same Marvel sheet and was matted with the same mirror board cut using Spellbinders 'back to basic tags' die set.  The sentiment was then adhered to the bottom of the card.

Merry Christmas - Robins

Hello bloggers, today's card is a Christmas card with three delightful robins.

This card began as a white hammered DL card blank.  I attached some traditional Christmas patterned paper to the card and then cut it to size.  I then inked the edges with pine needles distress ink.  Next onto some white card stock I stamped the robins using aged mahogany distress ink and Creative Expressions 'robins' stamp set.  These were then die cut using Spellbinders 'lacy squares' dies. The robins were coloured using ProMarkers.  The toppers were adhered to the card blank using foam tape.  Finally the sentiment was stamped using festive berries distress ink and the same stamp set.  It was then die cut using Spellbinders 'back to basic tags', I then inked around the edges with the festive berries distress ink.  The sentiment was then attached to the card and  cosmic shimmer pearl berry red  was added to the tag holes.
