Have A Great Day ~ Best Wishes ~ MODS ~ Vespa

Hello bloggers, today I have another card for the boys with this MODS and Vespa card.

This card began as an A4 sheet of white card stock that I cut and scored to make a DL card blank.  Next using Polka Doodles 'Not For The Girls Definitely For The Boys' CD-ROM I printed off the backing paper, topper and sentiments.  The backing paper was cut down to size and then adhered to the card blank.  Next I cut out the topper and then edges it with a black ProMarker before adding it to the centre of the card.  The sentiments were cut out using the Brother Scan N Cut direct cut feature.  They were edged with the black ProMarker before being added to the top and bottom of the card.

Best Wishes Stepdad Stepfather

Hello bloggers I hope you had a good day yesterday, I know I did.  Today I have a simple birthday card for a Stepdad or Stepfather.

This card began as an A4 sheet of white card stock.  First I printed out my chosen design onto the white card stock using Polka Doodles 'Not For The Girls Definitely For The Boys' CD-ROM.  The card stock was then cut and scored to make a card blank 11cm x 10cm.  Next I used a sentiment which had been printed from the same CD-ROM as used above.  This was cut out using a circle punch.  Using some green pearlescent paper I cut a larger circle using a circle punch as a mat for the sentiment.  The mat and sentiment were adhered together before both were adhered to the card blank.

Best Wishes Hope Your Day Is A Cut Above The Rest ~ Boxing

Hello bloggers, today's card is another make for the boys although it could also be for the girls too.

This card began a sheet of red card stock that was cut and scored to make a 6.5 x 7.5 card blank.  Next I used Polka Doodles 'Not For The Girls Definitely For The Boys' CD-ROM to print out a topper and sentiment sheet onto white card stock.  I cut out all the elements that I wanted to use.  The larger boxing gloves were cut out twice and one set was cut up to make my own decoupage which was layered up with foam tape.  This was then matted onto a black mirror board circle cut using a circle punch before being added to the bottom of the card.  Next I added the smaller boxing gloves with text to the bottom left of the card.  Across the card diagonally I added a best wishes border.  Next I added a sentiment to the top of the card that had a black mirror board mat added behind it.
