An Army of Decoupage
So it finally stopped snowing and it is beginning to
clear. Today’s card is a birthday card
created with an army theme.
Card size is A5 and was made using white card stock. An A5 mat using gold mirror card was attached
using cosmic shimmer glue. From Crafters
Companion CD Occupations an army theme background was printed, but slightly
smaller than the gold mat and attached to this.
Next I printed out a decoupage sheet and carefully cut out all the
pieces for a tank and soldier. The
pieces were adhered together using Pinflair glue gel so that I could get some
depth to the design. These were the
attached to the front of the card. I
attached a pre-made sentiment of happy birthday in gold as well as using a
sentiment from the CD saying so proud of you.
Inside the card I attached an insert from the CD and added some text.
Hope you like this card it would make a great card for armed
forces day if you changed the sentiment.
